All In for Worship: Amanda Janson's Surprising Journey to Music Ministry

On this episode of the Christian Music Industry podcast, host Wisdom Moon sits down with singer-songwriter Amanda Janson. Amanda shares her incredible testimony of how she went from being a Broadway theater kid in New York City to becoming a follower of Jesus and pursuing a career in Christian music.

You'll hear the fascinating story of how a random Starbucks run and a Chick-fil-A sandwich played a pivotal role in her coming to faith. Amanda also opens up about her family's move to Nashville and how winning an online singing competition hosted by Rixon Entertainment unexpectedly paved the way.

Amanda gets vulnerable about the challenges of being a Christian artist, including placing false callings on your life versus pursuing what God has truly called you to. She discusses how the worship music genre has become her heartbeat and calling.

Additionally, Amanda shares practical insights on using platforms like TikTok for authentic ministry, the pros and cons of living in Nashville as a Christian artist, and her advice for independent artists seeking first the Kingdom of God. Don't miss this inspiring and story-filled episode!
